Our Story
Dedicated to Quality Water for Generations
Lybrook is a small community of around 300 residents located in the southwestern part of Rio Arriba County, New Mexico. The Lybrook Water Users Association was first established in the early 1970s and later renamed Lybrook MDWCA in 2019.
Today, we have 62 metered memberships across Rio Arriba, Sandoval, and San Juan Counties — providing service to members of the Nageezi and Counselor Chapter Houses. Our system includes one well located on Highway 550, 12 miles of pipeline, and two water tanks with a total storage capacity of approximately 92,000 gallons.
We take pride in the quality of water we deliver. In past state competitions, our water taste test placed second in all of New Mexico — a reflection of the clean, refreshing water that serves our community.

Lybrook MDWCA operates under the guidance of a local Board of Directors.
