Keeping Our Community Clean and Beautiful
A clean and well-maintained community reflects the pride and cooperation of its residents. In Lybrook MDWCA, we all share the responsibility of keeping our streets, parks, and public spaces welcoming and safe for everyone. Whether you live downtown or in one of our surrounding neighborhoods, small everyday actions make a big difference in how our city looks and feels.
The Public Works Department works hard year-round to collect trash, recycling, and yard waste on schedule. Residents can also take advantage of special large-item pickup days, seasonal clean-up events, and community recycling drives. These programs are designed to make it easier than ever to properly dispose of unwanted items while protecting our environment.
Residents are encouraged to do their part by keeping sidewalks clear, properly bagging trash, and maintaining lawns and gardens. Even something as simple as picking up litter on your street or helping an elderly neighbor with cleanup goes a long way toward maintaining the appearance and health of our city.
Community volunteers and local organizations often partner with the city to host neighborhood beautification days, tree-planting events, and recycling education programs. These efforts not only keep Lybrook MDWCA looking great but also strengthen connections among residents.
By working together, we can continue building a community that’s clean, safe, and welcoming — a city we can all be proud to call home.
